Aboard The USS Icarus
The Federation Starship Icarus pushed through the blackness of deep space under the power of its impulse engines. A quick sensor sweep of the current system for a navigational check was preformed and then the ship leaped back into warp; destination, Argolis Spacedock. Captain Darius Scott watched as the stars on the ship's main viewer faded into starlines as the Icarus made the jump to warp. Captain Scott was an accomplished Starfleet officer, with over twenty years of service to the Federation; the last five devoted to special operations. A career military man, much like his father before him, and his father before him, Scott was a no nonsense officer with a hard edge.
Lieutenant Mark Reynolds sat at the conn of the Icarus. Reynolds was a recent graduate of Starfleet Academy, but had shown remarkable talent in the piloting of Starships. Upon the recommendation of Captain Scott, Reynolds had undertaken advanced training for Prometheus Class Starships, and even though his positioning on the ship for its last assignment was somewhat questionable, he was allowed to serve. Reynolds shared his console with Operations officer, Commander Saivok, a Vulcan. Saivok, a typical specimen of Vulcan methodology, was the ship's de facto First Officer as well. Lieutenant Commander Thra'rahn Ruodo, an Andorian, manned the tactical station. Ruodo had served with Scott on several special ops missions before and was hand picked to join him once again on the Icraus. Stationed at the Engineering console was Commander Kurt Reed, an original member of the Prometheus project. Having intimate knowledge of the ship's design, Reed was specially assigned to the Icarus by Starfleet Command. Rounding out the Bridge crew was Doctor Kelly Mier, the ship's lead Science Officer. Doctor Mier was commissioned by Starfleet as an officer, but she refused to be acknowledged as such. She had often had extensive disagreements with Captain Scott over this very issue, but Mier was the leading scientific mind in her field of study and Scott knew how to pick his battles.
The lights were dim in the special command ready room that had been prepared for the extended tour that the Icarus was returning from. In the center of the room, on a stepped up platform, was a Captain's style chair with various controls built into the arms for everything from communications to tactical readouts. Surrounding the chair in a circular fashion, was a series of holographic images; more readouts of technical data and such. Holographic projectors had been specially installed in the room and linked to the ship's central computer to provide a holographic interface to real-time ship data; A design that had proved itself very useful over the last several months. Seated in the command chair, watching the various displays turn before him, was Admiral Sebo. Sebo could see that the ship had made its last navigational check and was now on its last leg before reaching the Argolis Spacedock. It had been some time since the Admiral had been to the Argolis, having been pulled away by Starfleet Command. But, due to his recent successes concerning several key problematic situations, Command had decided to allow Sebo to return to the Argolis sooner than expected.
It was always a pleasure watching a ship dock to the Argolis. Greg allways felt like coming home after a mission. As soon as the Sapentia had docked, Greg was free to have som time of of his duties, but usualy he left towards the science decks, to check in on the research they had been doing during his absence. This time was not different. He stroled through the well known corridors of the station heading towards his destination.
Turbo-lift 11 brought him to the science deck and as he stepped out he immediately saw some fermiliar faces.
Silently he stepped into one of the labs and observed the scientist working on thier projects. Soon he was ocupied in one of them, assisting an ensign who seemed to have some trouble with the experiment.....
It was a busy day at Spacedock Argolis. Matija was working in TAC/SEC office. There was a much work to be done since that dept. doesn't have command officer. Last commanding officer of Tactical/Security dept. resigned his commission and went back to Earth. A young Ensign who was in charge of that office didn't do much paperwork and he didn't run simulation. That simulation need to be run because of training the personal and in simulations every scenario could be done.
While Matija was sorting PADDs by their important content he hear the computer "Starship is docking. Everyone stay on their positions." Matija stood up and went to the window. He never saw that starship while docking. The sight was great. The new class of ship the Prometheus Class starship was looking great. Since Matija never saw that ship in live that sight was awesome.

"Admiral Sebo, we just came out of warp. With your permission, we will being the docking procedure." Captain Scott's voice came across the comm speaker located in the arm of his chair. Taking a look at the appropriate display, Sebo could see that the Argolis was coming into view along the port side of the ship. It had been far too long since Sebo had been on the station, and he was ready to resume his duties with the Gemini Fleet. However, many months had passed, and with the continual reassignment of staff and personnel for other Starfleet matters, the Fleet had essentially become a glorified communications relay.
"Very good, Captain." Sebo responded with a low tone in his voice. "Advise the Operations Chief that we do not require any assistance upon our arrival, and that we will attend to any and all personnel and equipment transfers." Sebo tapped a few keys on the arm of his command chair and a new holographic window appeared amongst the others in the ring encircling him; it was a direct link to the Argolis' main computer.
"Understood, Admiral," Captain Scott responded with precise diction. Deactivating the comm between the Bridge and Admiral Sebo's command ready room, Scott advised Commander Saivok to hail the Argolis. It only took a few seconds for the link to be established, and from the look of the junior officer on the other end of the link, Scott knew they were not expecting the Admiral's return anytime soon. Nevertheless, Scott relayed the Admiral's orders and ordered Lieutenant Reynolds to begin the docking procedure.

James lay motionless in his cramped quarters on board the small transport vessel. His eyes were fixed above him as he stared longingly up. Black hair had grown over his face from not shaving for the past three weeks, Had it been that long...Has it been three weeks since the court marshal and his reduction to Lieutenant?
His thoughts continued to dwell as he heard the silent noises of the docking clamps. They had arrived to Starbase Argolis where he was about to embark on his new vessel the Sapentia. He had been on board her before, many years ago but things and time itself had changed. He stood up adjusting the shirt that he was wearing, "Just enough time to get some food then leave this cramped ship." He said to himself before rising fully from his bunk. He grabbed his bags and left the temporary room that he'd been assigned during the trip from Starbase 271 to Argolis. He had just spent three weeks traveling to this place. And, during that time not once did he wear his uniform choosing to look as he did...
Aboard The Spacedock Argolis
After a cold breakfast the unshaven James Patrick Fire walked the halls of the starbase. He had arrived just in time to watch as the ship arrived at the starbase. He would make his way on board today, and his new life away from Earth and the dreaded ship began...
